SOCIETY with a solution for the farmers and explained about SFURTI scheme and reached to the nodal agency National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (niMSME) and given the presentation to the ministry of MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises). MSME had sanctioned Rs3.61 crores under SFURTI scheme (Scheme of Fund for Regeneration of Traditional Industries) and Andhra Pradesh Food Processing Society contributed 10% share and 1.5 acres of land for the establishing of common facilitate center for the banana farmers and formed an organization under FARMERS PRODUCER ORGANISATION and Registered SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) with the PULIVENDULA HORTICULTURE FARMER’S PRODUCERS COMPANY LIMITED registered under FPO’s
act of farmers.

 This is the first Banana Processing Cluster in the country which helps in end to end utilization and which acts as a way and torch bearer to the Banana farming community in utilizing the banana from waste to the wealth. The technology was purchased from NRCB (NATIONAL RESEARCH CENTRE OF BANANA) through the technology transfer for manufacturing the value added products.
